Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. When HM ships entered GB and NI ports for short visits, shore leave used to be granted to natives only.
It meant, of course those who lived locally.
    A bit non-pc in today's artificial environment.

How is such leave described today?
  2. The number of times I took advantage of that one at Portland and never got past the Little Ship!!!!!!!
  3. It isn't, it doesn't exist. Anything else you need Norman?
