Hi all, just wondering does anyone know how long the SIFT stage takes?

Also if you manage to get through SIFT and interview what does the training pipeline involve as it is a qualified position?

Any help or advice with this role would be greatly appreciated.

Unsure on the sift.
I think if you have MJDI experience you’d just do an induction into the RFA and the required safety courses.

Yeah I've got MJDI experience, sent all my documents away 6 weeks ago and was told it would go through Sift, just not heard anything and was looking to see if anyone has went through the application for the same job to see what the timeframe is like.

SIFT took two months then another month wait for a interview, if you pass your interview then it can be a very long wait from letter of employment to actually starting training with ENG 1 tests and security checks, some can be 4 months some can be up to 9 months waiting for start date. Training is a mix of internal RFA training at Raleigh with a small induction into the RFA then a 8-10 weeks at Worthy Down on a RN course leaning about RN supply chain and MJDI techniques also either before or after the course at Worthy Down you will have sea survival courses and other sea faring courses.
