    Does anyone know how long the course is from being an AET to becoming a Leading Hand. I know it is based in Portsmouth and think it is a 15 month course?

    The LAET(M) course is currently 9 months and LAET(AV) 13 months

    Many thanks for that. I'm not in the forces myself so am assuming the (M) is mechanical and the (AV) is avionics?
