An invitation-only webinar for members of the British Korean Society,
held in partnership with the Royal Institute for International Affairs
This webinar brings together the UK Ambassadors to North and South Korea to discuss the latest developments in both countries, including their relations with the UK.
As South Korea’s President Moon Jae-in enters his final year in office and North Korea faces its worst economic crisis since the 1990s, the Ambassadors will discuss recent domestic developments and their implications for the international community. They will also consider the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and other recent global events on the peninsula, and provide their assessment on what the new Biden administration in Washington will mean for US relations with both countries.
This event is held in partnership with the Royal Institute for International Affairs. The discussion will be held under the Chatham House Rule.
