Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Im all for Rage against the machine for being number one for christmas, it makes a change from having all the usual shite.

  2. I like the plan but personally I imagine this music to be playing in the background when we carry out the cull.

Infact this music pretty much plays in my head 24 hours a day, the soundtrack to my life.

Edited to add: play this music while watching porn, it is possibly the funniest thing you will ever experience.

  3. Exactly how I see it too, but with the Benny Hill theme tune going on in the background. :D

  4. Having bought a couple of cd's from Amazon recently they gave me a couple of free MP3 downloads, I now have RATM and BH looks promising,
unless you good people could recommend something else......

  5. I'm enjoying Kasabian's latest offering at present. Good album. Great driving music.

  6. Foo Fighters ?

  7. Got the first 2 albums but have yet to check out the latest, Kasabian, my mucker raves about these so probably good call 2DD.

  8. The Slip by NIN (Nine Inch Nails) is available as a free download from their website:

    Nine Inch Nails

Although 'Closer' was their best ever song.

Angles - Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip

Lungs - Florence and the Machine

Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace - Foo Fighters

    Starlings - Elbow

  9. Mate that music makes me want to get out of bed and go the local news agents and stab them to death and quite happily be on my merry way to meet the family for christmas.

  10. Why? Were the crisps you bought out of date?

  11. Ran out of skips

  12. Fair one

  13. As this WAS my nickname I suppose it is fitting.

Bernard Herrmann was one of the finest classical composers of the 20th century IMO.
