It is to replace someone I have been working with on the book club reviews and has been a very worthwhile contact. SENIOR MARKETING EXECUTIVE, MILITARY
THE HISTORY PRESS
The History Press is the UK’s largest specialist history publisher. We publish over 350 new books and eBooks a year on a wide range of subjects including military, local and general history, transport, biography, archaeology and sport.
As our military history list expands and develops, we wish to recruit a specialist Senior Marketing Executive, who will be responsible for planning and implementing both trade and consumer marketing campaigns for our military list, using traditional and social media.
The successful candidate will have a keen interest in military history, will be well networked and/or will be a member of at least one online military community.
He or she will need to demonstrate excellent writing, administrative, organizational and communication skills, creativity and lateral thinking, as well as enthusiasm and a strong commitment to making our military list an even bigger success.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to draft a marketing plan and a press release for a specified military book.
Starting salary will be competitive and dependent on skills and experience.
The position will be based at The History Press’ office near Stroud in Gloucestershire.
