Jeremy Corbyn at N.I. Funeral

War Hero
Jeremy Corbyn attended the funeral of the female journalists killed by the Real I.R. A. today in his capacity as leader of the Labour Party. For most people it could be viewed as a simple paying of respects while for him it represents a certain amount of hypocracy. Prior to the 1997 Good Friday N.I. Agreement he was an attendee at N.I. funerals but those of the murderers rather than their victims.
In fairness he was not the only one present today with more than an observational acquaintance with the Provisional I.R.A. but certainly the most senior English politician.
Sinn Fein are now people of peace but you suspect that may know more about the most recent retread of the IRA than they're prepared to admit.
