    In this role you will be responsible for the design of IT infrastructure and integration mechanisms for legacy systems and new large scale integrated systems.
    You will need the following:

    Educated to degree level in engineering subject or at least proven track record in a similar role - essential
    Trained in the use of mainstream COTS integration methodologies - essential
    Formal training and experience in systems analysis methods - essential
    Ability to communicate, negotiating, present and manage the customer and his agents - essential
    Membership of a professional body - desirable (e.g. IEE, BCS)

    Expertise in designing high volume, 24/7 high availability & highly secure applications including web-based;RUP; Skillful in identifying architectural risks
    Highly Desirable: Experience in software development and architecting enterprise-level N-tier applications in a J2EE or .NET framework
    Knowledge of tools that would be advantageous;

    MS SQL
    Rational Enterprise Modeller,
    Rational Rose
    Telelogic DOORS,
    Telelogic System Architect,

    Experience with J2EE or .NET, XML, Struts, WebLogic, LDAP, DNS, RDBMS; Experience with UML, OOA/OOD; expert understanding of components; Full lifecycle development experience; Excellent ability to research, evaluate and recommend technical solutions including open source and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products; Ability to formulate solutions and courses of action from small pieces of information; Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong presentation skills and ability to present technical information to a business audience; Strong interpersonal and team building skills, demonstrated leadership skills; Customer-focused;  Strong personal organization; time management, planning, and project coordination skills; Demonstrated ability to cover multiple projects
