Is this another friendly fire incident by the Americans?

Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Initial investigations on the ground are saying that Marine Jonathan Wigley of Zulu Company 45 Commando Royal Marines who was killed on Tuesday may well have been the victim of American friendly fire. According to my old Dad nothing has changed from WW11 as when they came over then both sides got their heads down.

When discussed on ARRSE the thread was locked then binned by the Mods/COs for reasons that should be self evident.
  3. Not self evident to me Seadog, after all, do we not live in a democracy where free civilised speech is our right?
  4. Its in the news anyway
  5. Makes it all the more tragic somehow !!!!
  6. Latest is the Mod are saying nothing because its a subject that is being
    investigated ------------------

However another quote was that it was a A-10 Warthog doing a ground support mission . The A-10 is an awesome weapon .
