Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Considering the rate at which the rats are jumping is Godons ship of state slowly sinking below the waves.
  2. Let's just say he'll be drawing submarine pay soon
  3. Now when did he do his part 3, and on top of all those expenses too.
  4. That's a good point, make it diving pay as he'll be going down alone
  5. Have you ever seen anything that fat pass the divers course? He'd probably float!
  6. Maxi. Fair point but note that he's still intent upon rearranging the deckchairs.
  7. "Hands to bathe".
"Belay the last pipe - abandon ship - cabinet ministers first".
  8. If that should be the case, then I hope that they are good at holding their depth, the deeper the better. :)
  9. The ship sank a ong time ago, unfortunately Brown the Clown does not and will not recognise the facts

Just come back from voting, the European ballot paper is about a yard long, included in it are the Cornish party (I live in Dorset) and the top candidate would be A. Scargill standing for the Real Socialists or some such
  11. look up the Wai D (YD) on the internet...what a concept, I'm sure it would work
  12. In the days leading up to an election, I normally see the house windows in this area
plastered with 'Vote for such and such' notices. I did a quick survey yesterday,
and couldn't find a single Poster.

Any one else having a similar observation in their area?

  13. Yep, not seen a single sign anywhere. At the end of the day, people care more about OUR government and the mess their making of things, over the mess a government a couple hundred miles away is making of a bigger train set, even though both have a large effect on our lives.
  14. Only ones I've seen are Tory ones a couple of farmers have lined their hedgerows with.
  15. Surely he'll be the ballast!
