IRANIANS ACCIDENTALLY SINK OWN VESSEL

According to the local sources, Iranian Moudge-class frigate “Jamaran” (pennant number:76) accidentally shot friendly vessel named “Konarak” (Hendijan-class general-purpose vessel) with a C-802 Noor missile during live firing exercise in the Jask area on 10th May.

EDIT to add BBC now carries the same story at

Uupps, who gets a S126 for that?

Sad that there were deaths involved, but that is what can happen when you play with live ordnance.

Not like they don't have form for incorrectly targeting and destroying moving targets recently either.
