Fascinating stuff. Mutinies have always been a hobby of mine. (Reading about them, not organising/partaking). Or was that matinees?

I worked for the MoD in the Records Department when they declassified all the Invergordon papers in the 80's. Despite all the promises of "no recriminations", the Pusser shafted the ringleaders something rotten, mostly on "careless whispers" and unconfirmed rumours. There was also an anonymous outfit called the "Economic League" who fingered people to MI5: these were the ones whose blacklist used to be used to raise funds at the old Labour Party Conferences to see who was on the list - which was usually most of them! Not the best showing by the Admiralty at all.
