Insurance for RNAC

Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I have recently complated my acceptance form for RNAC at Collingwood and noticed that on there was a disclaimer about personal injury etc.

I understand that this is normal H&S Policy for most companies but there was also a note stating that personal insurance was recommended for your time there. Is this something that anyone would recommend or is it again just covering all avenues of litigation?

  2. What did you have to do too " complated my acceptance?" they just asked me!

  3. there were about 3 forms to fill in.

A letter accepting the offer, a uniform and dietry needs form and one about the rules and conduct etc

  4. when i did my RNAC in 2007 i asked my careers advisor the same question, and he said it was them covering their backs. Although there are the P.T sessions and PJFT run, my OPINION is that the insurance is not really necessary.

  5. cheers mate
