Infant put through X-ray machine?

Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Some of you may have seen a recent story where an infant was put through an X-ray machine at an airport.

However, is there any truth to the rumour that a similar incident happened at the Festival of the Sea thing in Pompey Dockyard in 2005?

I was there at the time, and I heard that on the gate where they were searching the public on entry a woman asked if they were searching children too. Jack says 'Yes', next thing they know is that there's a one-year old in the X-ray scanner!

    Naval myth?
  2. Wouldn't put it past them, though the health and safety blerks would be all over it like a rash, no doubt.
