One example is the decision to drop plans for three new Nimrod MRA4 surveillance aircraft to replace the ageing MR2.
I am assuming that's a typo. If it's not, I wonder what else they have misunderstood. It would have to be a bloody big misunderstanding, though, to detract from the sound argument for a budget increase. That also needs to be a real increase, taking account of "defence inflation" and not the "retail inflation" that the rest of us worry about.
