Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. for personal training for my test,
what are the ideal fitness pre-reqs
that i should be training towards?
  2. You will find the fitness requirements on the RN website (and on this forum). Try to beat them.
  3. eat healthy, get running
  4. Press-ups, Sit-ups, pull-ups, dips and lots of running is a good place to start
  5. I'm aiming for double the amount of pressups and situps and a 1.5 mile time of under 9 minutes.

There you go, work on it.
  6. The only gym you really need is your local park
  7. treadmills are pretty useless after you passed your PJFT, better just get running on the roads
