  1. i have just over 5 months to get fit, and dont want to use the 8 week programme in the back on the navy booklet, i feel i need a stronger workout in the short time i have, i am not to fit but i im am border line fitness. Can any1 suggest a programme for me?
And do u need to be able to do pull-ups when in hms raleigh?

    cheers

  2. The 8 week programme is their for a reason, it works. Just go circuit training and running in the build up to those eight weeks, overdo it and you might get injured, then its endex for your joining date. You don't need to do pull-ups at raleigh.

  3. Why don't you take the 8 week program and build on that after you've completed it. Or if you don't think you can manage it, do each week twice with the first go at a bit lower intensity.

  4. Do the programme they gave you to do. If you feel you need a 'stonger' workout, add a few hills or do everything a little faster/longer?

"It's only as hard as you make it."
