  1. Hi, does anyone on here have any tips on what questions are asked for Hydrographic meteorological & oceanographic specialist interview? It's on the 19th of this month. Thanks in advance.
  2. Hydrographic meteorological & oceanographic specialist

"What does this cloud remind you of?"
  3. wow your going in as a meteorologist too! thought I was the only one! at my interview they didn't ask mich related to that specialisation, only what I think that role entails. How long were you told the waiting list is for it?
  4. No real ambition to progress then!:eh:

Not the branch for the fastest movers. Small branch/trade = slow advancement!

Met for the terrified Waspie Version

    Meteorology above water weather.

    Oceanography under water weather!!!

    Hope that helps!
  5. I got all the time in the world :)
  6. You have my curiosity piqued! On a previous thread you enquired about officer entry yet choose a trade that is not renowned for its career progression. Not saying you can't nor wont progress but as a rule of thumb, small branches of the RN tend to see slower promotion.

You have mentioned about moving from rating to officer and direct entry officer, implying some intent on advancing through the service and yet on this thread you choose a slow moving trade and then say you have all the time in the world!!!!

    Very strange!:blank:
