How will anyone notice.....?

Wrecks not totally true can park most places most of the time, there are time limits and exception where you will get a parking ticket, unless parking bay is filled by those that do not give a shit or mothers/fathers with children who seem to have become the newest disabled bunch.

Some bonuses most tolls including London pay zone are either free or are free for a small token, e.g for Tamar crossing I get up to 100 per year for 3 years for £4, never used my allowance do not go to pointy head land that often. Bridge to Wales free when showing blue badge.

I was being sarcastic Sumo, as some seem to park where and when they like, unfortunately there is no sarky emoticon thingy ;)

I have a Blue Badge, but probably not for much longer, I have to go and see the wonderful people at ATOS tomorrow.
What with the taxman fecking me about, and now with the possibility of becoming just about house-bound, is it any wonder that my Doctor will be getting a visit for even more anti-depressants ?
It will cost the government more in happy pills than it will by stopping my DLA/PIP.

Probably quinine. I remember them being on the dining tables in Terror dining hall.
They were paludrine tablets. They were started a week or so before entering a Malaria zone then continued for four weeks after leaving the zone.
I was on Eagle in 66 and became allergic to them, spent a few days in sick bay covered in enormous lumps and bumps. Doc took me off them so just had to take my chances with malaria.
There are much better tablets availabe these days.

Slim that sounds about right, we were all saying we left them hot places ages ago why we still taking this stuff? we were just mushrooms doing as we were told by the doc.

Guns go in and fight your case, I have heard most that fight get the benefits they should have. My daughter-in-law went through this and someone's misses from work. The stress it caused them was massive, they found out that a lot of people pull out not because they should not get DLA/PIP but because the stress of all the evidence collecting and hassle was making them ill, some even had there hearing boards cancelled, but were not told until they got there.
My daughter-in-law had many reports about her health which said she was a wreck but one report said she looked OK, from a doctor not a specialist in her case, so the pen pushers were trying to say she was OK because of one ********* report. Lucky for her the senior medical advisor on the panel was her ex-retired consultant, and the case was sorted in her absence due to being to ill to make it, normally that would have gone against her.
Blue badge is against local authority area rule which differ from area to area so read local rules carefully, if you need help ask the British Legion, they helped me?
Good look.

Sumo, cheers for your support. This is not my first encounter with ATOS, they declared me fit for work only last year, but I fought them then, with great support from my Doctor, who I have known for over 30 years, and eventually was put into the Support Group of ESA. Someone with at least 2 brain cells reviewed my case, and as my problems started in 2006 and I was retired on medical grounds by the company Doctor and my own Doctor working together, they (DWP) finally decided that it would not be worth taking it to appeal, but decided that my Mandatory Re-consideration request was sufficient to place me in the Support Group.
I certainly will not let them walk over me and if they want a fight, they will definitely get one !

STAND TO !!

Fully echo Sumo's comments re asking the Legion for assistance. I had the mis-fortune of dealing with ATOS a couple of years ago. "Dear Dusty, get yer arse to Leeds (from East Yorks) so as we can see if yer not pulling a fast one." They wouldn't believe me that I couldn't get there and were threatening withdrawal of benefits (which I wasn't even receiving), and only relented when my medical team confirmed that I was on a high dependancy unit, and wasn't expected to be out of hospital for the foreseeable future. Absolute jobsworths, the lot of them.
