How to upload a video clip?

Guys and Gals
I've received a couple of video clips by email from an oppo in Oz that I'd like to share on the Navy Net website, but I don't know how to do it. I've downloaded the clips into File Explorer, but when I click on 'attach files' on the Navy Net site , the File Explorer window opens, but the video clips (along with a lot of other stuff) are not listed, so I cannot then select what I'm after.
My guess, is that I need to do something more in the File Explorer site before opening the Navy Net site - but that is a guess. Can anyone give me a steer, or point me in the direction of where to find an idiot's guide for what I need to do?
Thanks in anticipation........................

I've saved them to both the 'video' and the 'download' folders. However, as reported, when I then click on attach files, the File Explorer window opens, but the video clips are not listed in either folder.

Wrong type of video file so the site doesn't recognise them?

@mainbrace - If you (or your Oz Oppo) use Facebook then either of you could try putting the Video clips there.

Then, providing they run OK on FB, you could copy them from FB onto Rum Ration.*

As an example I spotted this "Oh Sugar!!" Video clip on Face Book then took the following steps -

1. With the Mouse pointer placed within that image a Right Click opened a wee white box with these options:

Play
Mute
Open up Video URL

2. Clicked on the 'Open up Video URL' option to reveal a new black box which shows the full URL address:

3. I then copied that Video URL [ https;//www. etc etc ] and Pasted it below at No.4.

[The actual Address was: <<...https://www.facebook.com/Channel4News/videos/1498123117006131/...>>]

4. This is how that URL address now appears as a watchable Video (I hope) within this post:

*Hope that helps - There may be others here with far better method(s) avoiding Face Book completely.

Thanks for taking the time and trouble. Unfortunately, I don't play the Facebook game, so it's back to the drawing board for me. Also, I don't think that Taztiff has the solution either, as other forms of media (eg documents / music) are also missing when the File Explorer window opens when the 'attach files' button is clicked on.
What I need is a 15 year old to show me what to do. Failing that, I'll need to wait until son / daughter next pay a visit.
Bloody computers indeed!

I have just managed to upload a 1.9 MB mp4 file to the gallery (its very boring but I am at work!).
I couldn't upload it to this post using either the attach or drag and drop. I got a message saying unsupported file (or sometimes, file was too large).

I tried copying to the the gallery area (top of page) and then clicking on the camera in the post dialog box - that allowed me to link to this post.
Seems to work
Give it a go.

Upload to YouTube if you have a login then cut'n'paste the link into a post on here.
Here's one quick bit I did when I worked for a living.
"Armageddon HMS DRAKE, at stupid'o'clock in the morning"

I didn't have the microphone settings done properly......new phone at the time.
