Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. In 1993 38 civies in my STC arrived on a Friday night and in about three hours got one of Her majesties smaller warships and took it to sea. (M I think this is called OC in todays navy speak).
I appreciate circumstances change and matters move on.
My questrion to all those rushing to their keyboards to tell me not to keep going back into the past ( that is called naval herritedge in todays naval speak) is what have we evolved into thirteen years later.
From an authorised manpower of 5800 to an allegied manpower of just over 2000.
