Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. What a load of ..... Firstly, £900 for a Christmas tree is just stupid. Secondly, "for health and safety reasons, a ladder could not be provided" - you know that's because they haven't had the training (the person who was to use the ladder) nor the manual on "How to Safely Climb a Ladder" and passed a relevant NVQ Level 1 , either.

*walks off muttering and banging her head against the wall*
  2. Don't forget the ladder has be in date for inspection by a suitably qualified person.
  3. Surely a safety harness would have to worn at some point as well.
  4. Not forgetting gloves, goggles, hi viz and obligatory hard hat. :?
  5. And a full radhaz!
  6. Not also forgetting a suitable and sufficient Risk Assessment. Emergency rescue party nominated and on standby etc etc etc..........
