How long?

Hello all

My Daughter had her selection interview to day & I'm proud / pleased to say that she passed.
So she has now completed all of the recruitment steps in the following order:-
Apply
RT
Eye test
Medical
PJFT
Security clearance
Selection interview

She was told today that she will probably be in around the Autumn time & her contract will be in the post shortly. She is going in as a Medical Assistant so I looked up the DMS website & managed to find the 2019/2020 course start dates so I am assuming that because they start in September, December then February 2020 that she will probably be attending HMS Raleigh either September or November this year? I checked another thread which has dates that candidates are attending HMS Raleigh & those that are going in as MA's dates seem to correspond to the DMS website course dates.
My question is.... Because she has been sent her contract & she was told the waiting time for an MA is 7 months which starts from when she had her RT in February, will she get her start date soon or will it be with her contract?
Really sorry for the long post & I appreciate any answers.

Thanks

Nobody on here can really answer that definitively, you'll just have to wait until the paperwork turns up.

BZ to the girl though.

I started Raleigh in January and there was MA’s on my course quite a few they started at Litchfield in March for their course and then another intake in February at Raleigh had quite a few MA’s on it so I think they might take in a regular in take tbh

So you’re guessing. People come here for answers and quite a few will believe everything they read. If you don’t actually know then don’t answer.

Thanks all for your replies, I appreciate that no-one will know for sure, I suppose I was just seeing if anyone had a similar experiences.
BTW the paperwork that was sent was the form S3049 Notice/Attestation. Not sure why she would need this yet?
Thanks again

PS what does BZ mean?

Hello again

I called the AFCO today to get an update on my daughters application & I was told that she has been allocated 23rd Feb 2020 for her HMS Raleigh start date however she wouldn't get anything formal until September because they allocate a term in advance of the start date, is this generally the case??
Also I have noticed that the MA role for surface fleet is no longer available on the Navy recruitment website, does that men that they have enough people already applied?

Thanks for any answers.

Strange question but yes I do.
I'm excited for my daughter & I enjoy finding out information about her career & she is very laid back about it.

Fair enough :)
My daughter is very laid back & she is happy to wait for as long as it takes whereas I am very curious & impatient so look here for anything that I don't know.
