Housing

I am wondering if anyone has any info on Housing in the Warminster and Illchester as we are due to be posted in November.

The NSFPS Office at Yeovilton would probably be your best port of call for this one, Alicia.

If you use Facebook, you might want to check in with this group:

Be sure to sign up here as well, of course:

Totally different. Where are you going to be posted to? Warminster is army and illchester is next to Yeovilton.
As far as I know housing will try and keep you at the nearest area to where you are based.

You may struggle to get warminster as they would view that as taking an army quarter when there are nearer ones at VL. Being in Illchester will also save on home to duty mileage, but I don't know if housing take that into account.

You can ask but when the housing list comes through warminster may not be on the list and if it is you may not get what you ask for as they would prefer the army to be there.
In reality you get a choice to make but that will be about that and you will get what housing want you to have.

I wish you luck.
