Good work.Cheers levers
I'll continue to update this as I finish the final weeks, I'm also up for the fast track board, if anyones interested in that I'll add that to it at some point.
I'm the same with my parents funnily enough, I'm guessing he's still in the academic phase, how long has he been here?Excellent account, My lad is currently at Sultan on an ME course. Getting info off him is like pulling teeth. However he seams to be enjoying it and getting stuck in. He to is hoping to make the grade for fast track.
No worries, I started this as there wasnt much information on the ME course, I'm glad its helping people.Cheers, its a really good account of what happens. My lad is going into week 10. So far so good, passed all his exams so far and got a B+ at Tal ya bont. He is hoping to get onto the fast track.. What are the requirements for him to get onto this.
Good luck with the rest of the course.
A few questions about Sultan if I may...
Are you allowed to take your own bedding (fitted sheet etc.)?
No, you're given 2 sets of issued bedding (pillow cover, duvet cover and bed sheet).
Do you need to take your own ironing board or is there some there to use?
That depends if the last people have left theirs in the block, otherwise take your own or buy one in the nearby area.
Is PT rig the same as Raleigh or can you use your own shorts & trainers etc?
PT rig is the same as Raleigh.
After the first two weeks as long as you've passed the kit muster you can go home everynight as long as you're over 18 and are back before 0700.Anyone know what the leave is like during phase two?
I live in pompey so would ideally would like to go back and live there and cycle commute each morning, I know I’ll be able to do weekends after the first two weeks (I think it’s two weeks!) but just want to know if I can do it weekdays too
