Just watched The One show which had a piece about Scylla and how she is now an artificial reef in the Channel. About a dozen of her crew were there to see s viewing.

Quite a good bit and showed Scylla being sunk and how she is now doing her new job as home to over 200 species.
  2. A Faceache page I use mentioned this, but failed to mention the ex Soviet boat, so as a diver and a sundodger I really enjoyed the one show.

Apart from the two bone and inane presenters.
  3. I used to walk past Scylla everyday while she was being prepped for sinking. They were basically making her safe for divers and the environment, removing sharp edges, snagging hazards, doors, glass, anything that contained oil etc.

A better fate than being broken up on Turkish beach.

  4. I've dived on her. I never served on her but did on other Leanders. Its a weird feeling, finning down passageways etc.
  5. Is the Phantom Giggler still on board?
  6. He is, but is safely locked away in Davey Jones locker.
