Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Looking for information about HMS Safeguard 1945/46. Based in Calmore Totton Hampshire. Thanks.
  2. Is this a safeguard?

Have you tried Google as there seem to be 36,8000 items there available in only 0.22 of a second.
  3. HMS Safeguard was a REAL ship.......
  4. Or a temporary shore base for recuperation.......... Google is my friend.

Perhaps it was the same class as HMS Gen Dit, HMS All Clips and HMS Green Foulies.
  7. What word would be used to safeguard, safeguard pipes on the Safeguard during BOST?

  8. 'Kin 'ell, LOOKOUT! Perhaps.
