I'm currently at HMS Raleigh and have completed the first week, if anyone close to joining has any questions, feel free to ask.

You march up to sickbay and they split the division into your respective classes (port or starboard) you go into dental, get a brief on how to brush your teeth properly and how to use the centre, then you get a check up ( there is a lot of waiting around but you'll probably be sewing your name tag onto your PT shirt.

After dental has been done, you swap to sickbay, get your height and weight recorded, then more sitting around, you'll get called in to chat with staff about family medical history, get your injections done (if not already covered by vaccination history) and they take some blood. Pretty standard stuff, no real detail involved unless there was any discrepancies in your medical process (I had to take another hearing test) otherwise that's it.

@SOB94 when you say - "You march up to sickbay and they split the division into your respective classes (port or starboard)"
What exactly do you mean by that?
Just to clarify purely for crystal clarity.
Because that does sound like a rectal exam!

Thanks for that, did you have another eye test
No, you probably wouldn't unless the one you did had something slightly off.

There are about 60 of you when you arrive on the Sunday, you'll be given a division (Gould, fisher, Cunningham etc) and then you'll be separated into separate classes (port and starboard) with about 30 people in each (give or take a few due to not signing on or medical discharge).
