HMS Mersey in Liverpool this weekend.

Batten down the hatches, remove all loose gear from the upper deck.....stow all shiny things like hose fittings, nozzles etc in a lockable fire locker for the duration.....otherwise she will be riding a little higher in the water when she sail's.... 8)

P.S. May a wazzer run ashore be indulged in by all....even the splitters.... :D

I'm working all weekend so can't go along to see it; disappointed. But next week HMS Argyll is along side up here & some of us recruits have been invited for a tour! looking forward to it!
