The problem with fiberglass hulls is they are flexible to take small arms fire without shattering and light enough that even flooded the parts would float anywho!... I thought that was hilarious too. Imagine being handed a axe after watching all that gunfire and the chief says "Go kill that boat for us sunny" lol

Heres one where everyone took a pot shot and it still wouldnt sink, like you say fibre glass wont sink, also the put polystyrene around the hull, no matter how many bullets went in it. in the end we set fire to it and then we rammed it, cut it in two and guess what there was two floating hazards.
PS the LEDET took the propellors off me for their own mess, surely they didnt need all three!!

Two questions.

Just why are US coast guards embarked, whats wrong with using Marines?

What was all that bollox about escorting suspected drug runners back to Columbian waters, 4 bloody days wasted.

The USCG is the only US federal law enforcement agency with jurisdiction in both US waters and on the high seas. Its active duty personnel are authorised to enforce federal law on waters subject to US jurisdiction and in international waters, and on any vessels subject to US jurisdiction including US, foreign and stateless vessels.

The US national flag (identical to the US Navy ensign) was hoisted by HMS Manchester to indicate the national authority under which the embarked USCG Boarding Party was operating in accordance with the Agreement Concerning Co-operation in Suppressing Illicit Maritime and Air Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances in the Caribbean Area, otherwise know as the Caribbean Regional Agreement or CRA. Manchester and her boats remained UK sovereign property.

When necessary, action is taken to apprehend suspects on behalf of other parties to the CRA but judicial proceedings are the responsibility of the other party where appropriate, e.g. Columbian citizens or criminals caught in Columbian waters are handed over to the Columbian authorities for trial.

That has to be the best slope arms I have ever seen. I nearly pissed myself laughing. Mind you, good effort by all staying vertical.
