  1. H.M.S. Jamacia

She spent almost her entire wartime career on Arctic convoy duties, except for a deployment south for the landings in North Africa n November 1942, where she was a member of the Centre Task Force.

At the end of December 1943 she participated in the action against Scharnhorst off North Cape, and in 1944 interspersed the Russian convoys with escorting the carrier raids against the Norwegian coast.

Post-war she went to the 5th Cruiser Squadron in the East Indies from September 1945 to 1946, followed by the 4th Cruiser Squadron on the same station until November 1947.

Between August 1948 and 1949 she was on the America and West Indies Station, with the 8th Cruiser Squadron, and was then loaned to the 5th Cruiser Squadron in the Far East for the Korean War, returning home on 27 February 1951.

She was in reserve between 1951 and 1953, refitted 1953/54, then served with the Home and Mediterranean Fleets until laid up in the Gairloch on 20 November 1957. Sold for scrapping to .Arnott Young Ltd, she arrived at Dalmuir for breaking up on 20 December 1960, the hull being finished at Troon in 1962.
