Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1.
  2. Methinks the lady sailors on her will be teased somewhat with that name on their cap tallies .:winkrazz:

  3. Great minds and all that Flags, that was the first thing I thought of, reminds me of when the Beaver first had women onboard.

  5. So how long before the fire breathing dragon heads south - for a patrol/deployment/exercise that has been programmed for months?

Agree, the big red dragon on the bow was the mutt's!

  6. That would scare the sh1t out of the Arg..(oops)...............any potential enemy

  7. Was she on South Railway Jetty over the weekend? I couldn't see the Pendant No from the Bridge Tavern and Gunwharf.

  8. Went to the commisioning ceremony by playing in the Band. 36 years in the mob and my first commissioning! She is big and just a bit scary. I thought that part of the deal was to march the ship's company up the gangway on completion. They don't any more. Probably 'elf n safe tee.
