I have read various notes on the Daring class and few mention which type will be carried, will it be a 815NAS Lynx or a 829NAS Merlin?

    Good question well said.

I can't find anything on the Type 45 website :?

My money is on Blue Thunder or even Airwolf.

I think Blue Thunder would be as it is not hangered in a rock in the desert. Must be a nightmare getting parts for a helo that doesn't exist

Could you speculate that given the T45 doesn't carry harpoons that it would have to be a Lynx Mk8 to allow it to carry Sea Skuas for anti ship capability?

So 01C Harpoon Store is a myth then?

I thought there were provisions, but no plans to fit a couple of quadrouple harpoon launchers. I'd love to hear otherwise! Is this the same case with Phalanx?

Good ol' AS12, resulted in more than a few soiled Johnnie Gaucho undercrackers in it's time.

She's "Fit to Receive" or "Fitted For But Not With" at the moment, with some sort of SSGW fit - Harpoon or 'other' - a future aspiration.

So would that make the class "FFBNW" instead of "DD(G)"? My brackets around the G.
