Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. 28 years ago today was the sad day she was lost.
I have raised a glass to the 19 still on patrol.
  2. Aye. I'll drink to that.
  3. I raise my glass. One of the POs when I was at Raleigh in 86 was on a ship that was lost down south. Served with two lads that were on the Sheffield and Coventry. Was in London for the 25th anniversary of the Falklands, had a drink in the UJC with the lads from SAMA,I stood in the shadow of heroes that day. Absent friends.
  4. I'll also raise my glass to those on the Atlantic Conveyor which was hit today as well.
  5. Aye, I'll raise my glass too. My 19th birthday and not one I wish to recall too often, to the 19 still with her, I salute you.
