    Submarine Day at the Kings Theatre
    to support Saving HMS Alliance Appeal

    Help save HMS Alliance by attending the Submarine Day at the Kings Theatre, Southsea in Portsmouth on Wednesday 9 February. As part of the day, the Kings Theatre is screening We Dive at Dawn and the Yellow Submarine with the Silver Beatles live alongside an exhibition “All Hands Onboard” depicting images of life onboard submarines. Full details of all the events are below:
    Wednesday 9 February at the Kings Theatre

    We Dive at Dawn (1943) 1.30pm
    Starring John Mills & Eric Portman
    with an introduction talk by submariner guide Paul Cubitt from the Royal Navy Submarine Museum

    A gripping tale of WW2 naval warfare. The crew of the Sea Tiger are sent to intercept a Nazi battleship and tension builds as they approach their target. After the attempt, escape seems impossible…unless they can refuel in enemy waters.

    Yellow Submarine (1968) 7.30pm
    with The Silver Beatles Live in Concert

    An iconic film and the superb live band “The Silver Beatles” all in one fantastic evening!

    The famous animation featuring the Fab Four onboard a yellow submarine. The magical Pepperland is invaded by the Blue Meanies who have declared war on all that is good. The Silver Beatles will then follow the film on stage to play all the Beatles greatest hits making it a great party night to support the Alliance Appeal.
