High expectations?

Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. With the likes of TV shows and films, such as Vampire Diaries, Tru Blood and the Twilight Saga..............do women (and the odd man), have high expectations of what a man/lover should be?

    Lets take it apart and have a closer look;

    The 'characters' that are popular and iconic are dead, survive by drinking blood, strong, very aggressive, killers and have an aversion to the sun.

    But on the upper hand, you can think of the advantages;

    * He won't eat you out of house and home (although, that could lead to chubby thigh syndrome)

    * He won't fidget in bed

    * He's always hard when you need him to be

    * He won't ever complain about having 'Man Flu'

    Are we all just raving necrophilic fantasizers?
  2. I've noticed American girls think we should all be like Hugh Grant.

    I have no expectations of my women. Heartbeat is optional.
  4. A fat arse and bad breath are rather off putting when one is sober - which thankfully I'm not - often
  5. Low self esteem is a must and glassjaws need not apply (nothing turns me on more than a woman who can take a punch).
  6. Necrophiles no, high expectations no, good looks no, only 2 requirements with my woman good cook and a good F**k, rich would be nice but you cant have everything. Ok she doesn't have to cook :wink: :D
  7. There is no need to keep starting threads to illustrate your low moral standards and slutty tendencies to me. You just PM me and I come over and mess you up a little.

    * Willing to go down on you when you're on blob?! 8O :evil2:
  10. Long time no see JD and you've just described Mrs WreckerL to a T
  11. Its all about wanting the one you cant have, the unobtainable. Stephenie Meyer's twatlight is about West side story and Grease with a dash of AnnE Rice and Bram Stoker (with much shorter words, big type and less sex), and has more to do with her emo high school experience and some popular bloke that didnt know she existed, than any literary aspiration.

    Id say "sex n the city" has more to do with womens daffy expectations of perfection these days. "Mad Men" is more like the male perspective, even seen from the female characters.
  12. Ships cat it's" Anne Rice" :p and it's nice to see a thread a bit deviant started by a woman :D
  13. Good to see you too!

    That's one heck of a woman you got there :lol:

    As for being on the blob................ 8O good enough reason though, least it saves money feeding him

  15. Nice one JD.....Saves money feeding him.... :thumbup:
  16. all good until you meet these guys

    P.s. I'm still stuck on that roundabout in Reading JD
  17. Of course buddy; you've got a chainmail glove yes? I like to slash and through my viagra haze of blood-shot tunnel vision I have difficulty discerning 'neck' from 'accomplice'.
  18. To be honest, my only expectations of a bloke are that he buys me a drink beforehand, and that he looks half decent. Though to be honest, if he accosts me somewhere where I can't see him - say a dark alley, then his looks become rather irrelevant.

    Oh, and on second thoughts, that drink is probably not essential! :D :)
  19. Expectations.

    That would mean I've standards. So no I've none.
  20. Blimey the spelling police are in early tonight. I'm surprised you didn't make me write out Anne O'Brien Rice 1000 times.....I bet if I'd misspelled twatlights authoresses' name you'd have let it lie....
