I seem to have misplaced the letter telling me about my FATs.

Could someone please kindly tell me what I have to bring to them?

I presume Driving license/Passport (suitable ID), anything else in terms of paperwork?

Thanks

I lol'd. But I hope you are being serious. I cant think of anything else that I may need to take up with me?
May just bring my navy folder with all the previous paperwork bits and leave it in my car just incase.

Really wish I could get Stephen Hawkings or someone to do these tests for me!!!! :(
I am nervous about them

Yep, he had a bit of flying experience in The Simpsons once, but I'm not sure he'd pass Fats & Aircrew Medical.

You'll be fine.

All you need is the FATs letter you were sent, informing you of what to bring.

I had heard that a white silk scarf, leather flying helmet & goggles were a must to get you off on the right foor with the assessors, but I've not seen it written in any reference book, to be honest.

I knew there was more to my failure at FATs then just my crappy mental arithmetic!

I did my FATs earlier this week. You need your letter of confirmation and some ID (Passport or driving licence) to show at the guardroom, then if it's your first time you'll have a photo taken which will be put on to a green unescorted card. Wear this card at all times and you should be fine. Our IDs weren't checked or anything before the actual testing, just had to mention your name.

If you would like any tips about the FATs then just send me a PM.

How very dare you hack my account and swap my "T's" for "R's".

Promise I'll buck-up. At some point. It's this keyboard, I swear the font size has been reduced to '8' on my PC.

It hasn't been put away safely somewhere by a helpful person, has it?
And that is why your mum asks you nicely to put things away .....so that when you need them, you'll know where they are and won't have to empty every drawer in the house screaming "I know its here somewhere".

We mums do not enjoy nagging you know - it is an occupational hazard that only makes us look bad.

He crashed, having forgotten the biggles helmet and goggles he was affected by a close encounter with a bluebottle, the scene was horrific.

Seriously though, how'd it go mate?
