Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Well done him. But an officer good old journos eh
  2. Danny,

I fully agree with your "Well Done" comment.

Re your "But an Officer good old journos eh". Whoah Danny, he IS a Chief Petty Officer.

Perhaps not a 'Wardroom Officer', as you and I know Commissioned Officers to be, but still an Officer to the world. Lets always keep it that way.

(Incidentally, I recall that even a Leading Rate is considered to be a 'superior officer' to his/her juniors.)

I do not wish to hijack or deviate from this bold guys deeds any further, they are a good example for us all.
So goodbye, and fare thee well, amigo.
  3. BZ Always fly navy you know you are in good hands
  4. And Royal Naval Air Service!!!!!!

The joys being a journalist. What can RNAS stand for?

At least it wasn't RAF Culdrose!!!!!

    Again; Well done than man.
