"A state-of-the-art purpose built recovery centre for both serving military personnel and veterans is preparing to get the Royal seal of approval.

The £23m centre – funded by the charity Help For Heroes – will help not just wounded, injured and sick personnel, but it is also geared up to help veterans and service families in the South West.

The recovery centre, which sits inside HM Naval Base, Devonport is made up of two buildings – Parker VC, a specialist accommodation building with 60 single cabins and six family cabins as well as social spaces, conference facility and 24-hour reception support, and Endeavour, the rehabilitation centre completed in December 2013."
