    RIP Henry.
  2. :salute: :salute: :salute: :salute: Henry RIP
  3. Part of me wishes I could be there to pay my respects to this true hero.

RIP Henry, enjoy your well earned peaceful rest

  4. Got to admit I felt a bit sorry for the poor bugger in recent years, with both the RAF and the FAA laying claim to him like a couple of terriers fighting over a bone. RIP shipmate, as far as I'm concerned he was a Naval Aviation Pioneer and a WAFU first and foremost.
  5. Royal Naval Air Service by the grace of God, Crabs by circumstance!!

As said before Henry "Please haunt Air Marshall Torpey for me".

    RIP Wings.
  6. In a time when we use the word 'legend' to describe anything remotely above mediocre, it's nice to see the word put to good use for once.

RIP old feller, you've more than earned it
  7. Re: Henry Allingham laid to rest today

  8. We shall remember them
  9. RIP Henry
  10. RIP Henry

I thought it quite fitting to see the vintage aircraft overfly Brighton in tribute to a truly amazing gentleman.
