  1. Hi all,

Can anyone help me in identifying what trade/rank/unit/etc. is denoted by an arm patch that looks like this:

It has a six-pointed star with the letter "L" inside. Below the star are the letters "CS" and above the star is a crown.

    Thanks in advance! :)

  2. Logistics, catering services
  3. Just as importantly, the Crown means the wearer has qualified in all respects to become a PO. They may be a LH, PO or CPO....
  4. Many thanks for your replies!

I may have got it wrong - it may have had a single small star above the large central star - if that was the case, what would that signify?

  5. AB = Able Seaman? (I'm a newbie, remember...)

  6. yup, although now a days, they would be called logistician, not Able Rate. The '1' signifies they have completed the task books required for promotion, but have not yet completed the training to enable them to take up their new rate.
  7. Smashing - thanks everyone!
