The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, will celebrate his 93[SUP]rd[/SUP] birthday with the largest ever pageant of military music and precision drill.

The Royal Marine Beating Retreat will take place on the 3-4 June at London’s Horse Guards Parade.

Performed every two years, the world-renowned Royal event has been running for five centuries.

This year however will also celebrate 350 years of the Royal Marines, making this an extraordinary commemoration."

  2. Unfortunately many Hello magazine readers will not know who is is, they think Prince is a black pop star.
  3. To be fair, he is.
  4. IMO there comes a time in every mans life when he should stop dressing up, as you run the risk of looking like a complete tool, a plain dark coloured suit would be much more sensible.

  8. Most serving people you know don't have an endless supply of servants to dress them.
  9. Yes Jack does seem to be able to slip into scranbag mode with very little effort.

  10. Here's hoping he'll offend some Daily Wail readers, other readers are available, with some classic "comments".

  12. Or the Royal Marines could just stop tucking jackets in to trousers and rolling up sleeves.
  13. I would say that Royal has earned the right to turn up his sleeves should he choose to do so.

  18. May he have many more birthdays. The man is a complete star and an inspiration to all straight talkers!
  19. The only but important difference being, he can say whatever he likes without the fear of getting his collar felt.
