HAIX Brown Boots, A Problem?

Hello all, had my prnc last week (23-26 jan) and was issued these brown haix boots, was pot luck whether you were given brown haix or black other brand boots20170203_204015.jpg20170203_203955.jpg20170203_204041.jpg20170203_204234.jpg, since finishing the prnc i have polished them using kiwi dark tan polish as i had a few scuffs where people had stepped on them during parade drill and scuffing them against stairs going towards the messes, my issue if that after 2/3 coats of polishing (no bulling as guidance letter says you dont bull these ones) my boots are not an even colour, like some patches are darker, I'll attach few pics with and without flash on, flash makes the patches worse than what they seem, last picture is without flash!
My question is am i stressing too much? Will they be okay at raleigh as ive cleaned them and buffed them so theyre shiny. Im just worried the colour might cause me to fail at something [emoji21] any advice or similar problems?
Could i be cheeky and just polish them black ;)
Thanks people.
Ps Raleigh 5th March

Shoe polish dissolves shoe polish. Buy a lighter brown polish and rub it in generously and it should dilute the dark polish you've used. Good luck [emoji4]

He hasn't picked the iron up since coming home though so he needs to pull his finger out and get practising lol.
Spot on.

He can lose his job if he fails three kitmusters and it happens more frequently than many imagine.

Always a good one at the JobCentre "Why did you leave the Navy?"

"I was sacked because I couldn't iron my clothes"

If you have followed the shoecare advice that comes with the boots when they were issued on PRNC, then I'd be inclined to sleep soundly. If you have gone 'off piste' then speak to your AFCO, nothwithstanding the Royal Marines don't appear to be too fussed and they tend to lead the way when it comes to uniform haute couture. And lingerie.

Life was so much simpler when the boots were black, a shade of grey was unthinkable in those halcyon days, sigh....
