She will be open to visitors from 10am – 3pm with boat transfers operating from Greenwich Pier. Visitors should queue up in the grounds of the Old Royal Naval College where there will be a bag search point.

Try Dumbarton or Commercial road Portsmouth they'll be easier to find

Still :) Only ships I've visited are the HMS Belfast and HMS Victory, would be interesting to see a ship currently in service.

Have to be extra careful given that it's the Thames... don't know what you'll catch 8O

HMS Ocean opens to public ahead of Olympics duties

Just a word of advice to anyone visiting Greenwich. Went last week to see the painted hall,etc etc. It is absolute chaos all around , the place is like a massive building site, with metal barriers and no go areas. Due to the Olympic equestrian event taking place. It will take until September, before it returns to it former self. Ps Queen Anne's house is closed till then pps it will get even worse when the couple of hundred horse boxes, arrive at blackheath in the next week!!!

Don't like the accommodation, that some of the pongos etc , are having to put up with, in the field .Jeez it's not like they are in a war zone, is it??? Only the capital of England, so come on the MOD pull your finger out. Its not on!!!
