Tomorrow, Sunday 16th May, is the Royal Marines Graspan Memorial Parade day in London.

The parade steps off from Horseguards Parade, through Horseguards Arch onto Whitehall, down towards Trafalgar Square and into the Mall, going under Admiralty Arch. Where it will stop for the memorial service at the Royal Marines Memorial.

I would recommend for anyone who is in the area to go and watch, it is normally very well attended by RMA members, lead by the RM Band from CTCRM, and makes for an impressive sight.

I think it sets off around 0900 - 1000 ish.

Tradition has it that any visiting pongos have to play the triangle, matelots who cannot be trusted with any kind of hand held instrument are encouraged just to clap there hands (if they have the co ordination for such complicated manoeuvres).
