Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. im applying for the War-fare Specialist branch, and im at this moment trying to revise and look up any info they may or might be asking, Question is is there anything you guys can help me with,

all info even if it seems basic is helpful

like what happens After the interview if your successful, hints on what to say during and even the actual job of the role mentioned, a insider view would be great ^^

Tell them you wanna join the Army but blue suits your eyes better.
  4. Fantastic 2nd post.:slow:
    Go to forums.
    Select Newbies forum.
Read the stickies. (Always at the top of a forum board.)
Read the rest of threads that mention HMS Raleigh, training, interviews, careers and the Royal Navy in general.
Stop being such a lazy twat.
    OP answered in full ENDEX.
  5. First hint : it's Warfare not war-fare
  6. i always thought it was War-Fair? ;)

  7. Only go to sea in good weather. Roughers?= Excused war. It's for winners.
  8. sorry, Auto correction software on my Pc is a pain X_X
  9. Is your MK1 eyeball also US?
  10. WTF? Kisses? I hope your wanting to be a 'jenny'.

ouit of interest: Are they still called that?
  11. As long as you go to your interview and they can see that you managed to dress yourself and can breathe without using a crib card to remind yourself of the steps involved then you will be fine and probably go far in the Warfairy branch.

    No mate.

These days they're called booties. :-D
  13. Shite, I was always scared of the WRNS attached to us, so no shock there!

They were always well looked after though (in more ways than one! nudge, nudge, no what I mean!).

  14. Unless you're going in as an officer they don't tend to ask you detailed questions about naval history/life. Just swat up a bit on the branch you're going into... all the other questions are based around you, your family, your education, your work up to now, your earnings, & whether you know what you're letting yourself in for & how you feel about certain aspects of navy life that will differ from civvy street.

    Good luck warfairy! :D
