The heart of the site is the forum area, including:
I need to get some decent running shoes, can any tell me decent brand?
Can any what?
Go to a running shop.
Ah screwed up Fixed it now. I don't think theres any dedicated running shops near me, theres a large sports shop though.
You need to find out your running style etc. Once you done that you can then find which type of running trainer will suit the way you run
These are country wide, will check your running gait on the machine and recommend the best shoes.
Thanks, looks good Closest one is 12 miles away so I could even run or walk there Or just get the bus
You need to know your running style supination and pronation if taking on long distances hence the reason for visiting a running shop what employing runners of course and not dimwits
If you can't be arsed getting it done proper, get a pair of decent Asics. They seem to cover most of the spectrum unless you're going to be going at it very heavily.
Thanks for help
Soloman does a good range, so does the northface but its only trail running. I have a pair of soloman and i cant fault them.
I asked this question on here a while back, feedback was very helpful, Asics, as suggested and New Balance as a UK alternative, but cheaper....good luck.
