Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. How does going from Non Commisoned officer to Commisoned officer work?
  2. Re: Going from NCO to CO

Erm, joining the army for a start.

Better look back over Naval terminology ;)
  3. Re: Going from NCO to CO

shippers you are going to either narrow it down a bit

if you mean Northern Chamber Orchestra - then i suggest you visit here

and continue working on blowing the oboe technique.

if you mean New Chamber Opera -

i hope you have got a sock down your pants especially when wearing the tight leggings.

if and a big if you mean Non-Commisioned-Officer either ask you tw*tting DO if you are in, if you are in and you are (doubtful an NCO) you should know better.

if you are just thinking of joining visit any helpful AFCO - thats what they do all day.

Why dont you join straight as a CO.

FFS am i here to only answer questions randomly posed by people who dont think before pressing SUBMIT.

UUUUUUUergh - been duty all weekend - not that the stress is visible

    CALM again

    Join as a Commanding Officer?
  5. Re: Going from NCO to CO

I think this guy means coming from the lower deck as a senior rate
    and becoming an Officer .
    ie Non-commission to commissioned

There are 15 steps from Recruit to Major General so strive on young thruster.
Only take 5 mins for your stand easys and 10 mins for lunch, hit the books and you'll be Commandant General Royal Marines before you know it.
Either that or Captain of the Heads on a Pussers War Canoe.

P'raps it was a typo, he probably meant OC.
    Only 40 years too late.
