German war graves - U Boat potentially resurfacing

maybe this should have been included in the Repluse link so others can see how to treat a war grave with respect.

RabC - You may be right and if it is deemed so, maybe a MOD can link the two. I didn't want to disturb the focus on those bastards desecrating the war graves.

Similar story to the one off Sweden thats leaking mercury,they were thinking of bringing that up as well.
Now they are going to cover it in concrete to contain it I think.

I think this ranks along side the WW1 graves in belgium that were to be unearthed by redevelopement.As long as its treated with due reverance and respecti cant see any problem in relocating it to preserve the last resting place of the seamen aboard.As a side issue back in the 70's when there was a particularly low tide a U boat appeared just off Scarborough.I think it was a WW1 vintage but not 100% sure.
