  6. i saw him at Lancaster House in June at the Corps Reception following the Falklands 25 Service. He looked frail but he was a sharp as a pin when you spoke to him.
    He took the time to chat to some of the young Marines from 42 and it was obvious to see he had the humilty and common touch of an outstanding officer.
    I am sure there will be obituaries in the comming days that will pay due tribute to this outstanding Royal Marine.
